Ministry in Action
WHAT WE DO
1. Prayer
We faithfully pray with leaders, staff, and others serving in government, asking God for wisdom, strength, righteousness, peace, and His direction for our nation (1 Timothy 2:1-5).
2. Presence
We are committed to being a faithful Christian presence on Capitol Hill. Through relationships, encouragement, prayer, and personal ministry, we seek to serve leaders, staff, and others in the Congressional community with the hope and love of Christ through gospel-centered ministry (Matthew 5:14-16).
3. Proclamation
We seek opportunities to share the gospel and truth of Scripture, encourage believers, and point those serving in government toward a personal relationship with Christ, while connecting them to a Bible-believing local church on Capitol Hill for fellowship, spiritual growth, and service (Romans 1:16).
4. Participation
We educate believers to understand their civic responsibility, engage their communities, pray for those in authority, and bring biblical truth to the public square (Jeremiah 29:7).
Ministering to Capitol Hill with the Hope of Christ
Aaron and Alycia Cruse, together with their four children, have a burden to see the gospel proclaimed and lives transformed on Capitol Hill. As a family, they are committed to serving Christ by reaching government leaders, staff, and those who work throughout our nation’s capital with the hope of the gospel.
Through prayer, discipleship, biblical encouragement, and faithful relationships, they desire to strengthen believers serving in government and point others to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. They count it a privilege to serve the Lord together and pray God will use their family to be a light for Christ in the heart of our nation.
